Dawna Huhman, APRN owns and operates AMHCC. She was raised in rural southeast Kansas on a farm and has always appreciated being from a small town where one knows and supports their neighbors. She started her nursing career at a small nursing home as a CNA at age 16. She has always been fascinated by science and throughout college worked in multiple roles in a local hospital before she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Pittsburg State University in 1998. She and her husband moved to Wichita where Dawna worked in a high risk labor and delivery unit for 8 years. She loved being an LDR nurse but returned to school to get a Master’s Degree in Nursing from WSU in 2006 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in several rural primary care clinics since that time.
Dawna and her family live in Kingman and enjoy being part of a small town. She enjoys spending time with her four children, reading, and baking. She has two children in college and two at home that go to local school. She likes craft fairs but doesn’t consider herself as being crafty!
Dawna’s vision for AMHCC and the patients she serves is to be a resource to the patients and to the local community to promote preventive health care services but also be a clinic where our patients are considered family and together can work through the barriers and challenges that patients face with acute and chronic health conditions.

“Hi, I’m Angela Robinson and have lived in Kingman for the past 6 years with my husband Mark and my two children, Cody and Jacob. I’ve been working in healthcare as a medical assistant for 11 years now.
In my free time, I enjoy camping with my family and spending time outdoors (especially in the warmer months). I really love travelling around the United States and have visited many wonderful places. Spending time on the beach by the ocean is my absolute favorite thing to do.
I am grateful to be here in Kingman KS and look forward to what the future holds for my family and I!”
